The Experience
Join us for an afternoon of slow craft, storytelling, and Palestinian flavors. This special edition of Nafas is a collaboration with Palestinian-Jordanian artist Tara Hakim.
Together, we will gather around a communal table to contribute to a collective textile piece. Through the meditative art of Tatreez (traditional Palestinian embroidery), we will explore the themes of heritage, identity, and the threads that connect us. No prior embroidery experience is necessary—this is a space for learning, sharing, and creating together.
The Menu
While we stitch, we will share a curated lunch designed to nourish and ground. The menu features traditional Palestinian staples:
• To Start: Lentil Soup with crispy pita bread
• The Salads: Tabbouleh, Fattoush & Cucumber Labneh Rolls
• The Mains: Musa’khan Rolls, Zataar & Cheese Rolls & Fattet Makdous Cups
• To Finish: Sahlab topped with coconut & cinnamon
What’s Included:
• All embroidery materials and needles.
• Guidance and instruction from Tara Hakim.
• A full Palestinian lunch and refreshments.
• A seat at our communal table.
Note: Space is strictly limited to ensure an intimate environment for stitching and conversation. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions upon booking.
